Frontline enjoys growth in Canberra market
April 30, 2009
The Canberra division of Frontline has taken new premises and welcomes three new employees to the team, to support growing demand for its Unix and storage capabilities.
Since opening its doors in Canberra in April 2008 with three staff, Frontline has established a strong presence with vendor partners – particularly Sun and HP – and has generated new business with a number of Government Departments.
With a number of system integrators leaving the Canberra market, and with vendors downsizing in the current economic climate, Frontline’s growth strategy demonstrates confidence that the demand for IT professional services remains as high as ever.
Joining the Frontline team in June are Pierre Patron, a sales rep with more than 30 years of sales in Canberra; and two senior technicians, Brad Armstrong and Phil Carmo. They will strengthen Frontline’s Professional Services capability even further, and enable the team to broaden its offering.
“We’re finding that Departments require assistance with their Unix environments, and face ever-growing storage requirements. On top of this, we have architected a fresh business intelligence solution that sits on Sun Unix systems – which could save Departments significant amounts of time when reporting on data,” said Neal Aitken, Federal Government Branch Manager, Frontline.
“We welcome our new employees and look forward to applying our expertise in helping Government Departments to overcome their IT challenges.”
