Fast-track your support with SCM plus

HP’s SCMplus support program is designed to empower customers in the logging of service faults. By encouraging self-sufficiency in fault resolution, the program’s goal is to minimise downtime and significantly reduce the impact on business.

Ideal for IT-savvy customers who regularly log simple, non-technical issues with the HP service team, SCMplus is designed to fast-track the support process to get systems back up and running much faster.

Products supported in the SCMplus program include:

  • Enterprise Servers
  • Desktop PC
  • Portable PC
  • IPAQ
  • Imaging and printing products
  • Industry standard servers

SCMplus is a great value-add for HP customers that have purchased HP support (either a care pack or a contract). By using SCMplus, you get more control over support resolution and restoration through the accelerated diagnosis you provide HP with. The HP response aligns to the service level on the infrastructure and this enables you to directly influence the outcome.

How to join SCMplus

To qualify for the program, you need enough IT experience to be able to accurately diagnose issues or faults. Your Frontline HP Account Manager can advise you on whether you may have sufficient diagnostic accuracy to participate in the program – and help you take the next steps to join.
