Since opening its doors in Brisbane in November 2010, Frontline has been busy establishing strong relationships in the government and corporate sectors, and delivering the full range of IT services for which we are nationally known.

Already, we have been appointed to the Queensland Government X10 panel under Hewlett Packard and Hitachi Data Systems. Frontline is also on government contracts panels in ACT, NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

“Opening the Brisbane office was the logical next step for Frontline. It gives us a solid base to build on the very strong relationships we have established in Queensland, particularly with agencies such as Queensland Police, CITEC, Department of Education, Department of Transport and several other agencies throughout the Queensland government,” said Bill Ratcliffe, Territory Manager, Frontline.

The move to establish a base in Brisbane was precipitated by strong demand in the market by both customers and vendors including HP, Oracle, Panasonic and Hitachi Data Systems.

All of Frontline’s key lines of business – such as Infrastructure Solutions, Data Centre Solutions and Cloud Computing – will be delivered by the Brisbane team.

Bill Ratcliffe, who has worked in the Brisbane IT market since 1996, leads the team and brings more than two decades of IT experience to the role. In the six months since Frontline’s Brisbane office opened, Bill and his team have:

• Teamed with HP on a successful National Defence Strategy
• Gained GITC accreditation and appointment to the X10 contract panel
• Engaged with several Military system integrators nationally
• Secured new clients and major panel contracts with Defence, DSD and other State and Federal Government agencies

Their great work points to a very successful future for the Brisbane office, and we look forward to welcoming more Queensland customers to the Frontline fold.
